Simon Glover (AIP, Potsdam):

"Uncertainties in primordial chemistry and cooling"

Zusammenfassung. Modern hydrodynamical simulations have allowed us to learn much about the physical processes responsible for the formation of the earliest generations of stars. However, the results of these simulations are only as reliable as the input physics. Uncertainties in this physics -- in partiucular, in the values of the chemical rate coefficients and major cooling rates -- can be responsible for major uncertainties in the outcome of the simulations. In this talk, I review the most important of the current uncertainties and discuss their potential impact on our models of early star formation.
