William Harris (McMaster University):

"The Astrophysics of Supermassive Star Clusters"

Zusammenfassung. Supermassive star clusters (10^6 Solar masses and higher) are revealing a variety of new observational features that will require new, more sophisticated understanding of their formation epoch. I will discuss three of these features connected with their scale sizes, masses, and chemical enrichments for which the key to their underlying astrophysics now seems to lie in the first 10^8 years of their history.
