Das Institut für Theoretische Astrophysik ist zusammen mit dem Astronomischen Recheninstitut und der Landessternwarte Teil des Zentrums für Astronomie Heidelberg.
In der Albert-Ueberle-Straße, in direkter Nähe zu den Gebäuden der Fakultät, ist das Institut größtenteils in einer alten Villa untergebracht. Weitere Teile befinden auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite in der "Villa Bergius".

Welcome to the Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics!
The Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics is part of the Center for Astronomy Heidelberg, together with the Astronomisches Rechen-Institut and the Landessternwarte Königsstuhl.
An old mansion in Albert-Ueberle-Straße, close to the buildings of the Department for Physics and Astronomy, contains most parts of the institute. Other parts are located in the "Villa Bergius" on the other side of the street.
