Zur Theorie von Scheibenwinden
(On the Theory of Disk Winds)
Tobias F. Illenseer
Abstract:
On the surface of accretion disks, physical conditions are comparable
to those in the photosphere of hot, luminous stars. The intensive radiation
field is so powerful that it can drive ion winds. This examination develops
the general principles of ion winds driven by radiation and applies them
to the case of accretion disk winds. The simplification of the three-dimensional
momentum equation for ion flows results in a one-dimensional equation describing
the flow of the wind.
