Hello, I'm a postdoctoral fellow at the Max-Planck-Institut for Astrophysics in Garching near Munich. I investigate the the formation of the first stars and galaxies with 3D numerical simulations. A link to my publications may be found to the left. I just recently obtained my Ph. D. on The Formation of the First Galaxies at the Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (ITA) at the University of Heidelberg. Previously, I was at the University of Texas at Austin, where I completed my M. A. in physics on The First Generations of Stars. Before that, I recieved my intermediate physics diploma (Vordiplom) from the University of Würzburg.
