"Site Testing for the Thirty Meter Telescope"

Zusammenfassung. The Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) project is progressing rapidly and will provide towards the middle of the coming decade the optical/IR observing capability of an extremely large telescope. TMT is conducting an extensive site testing campaign on several candidate mountains in order to identify the most suitable site to host such an observatory. An overview of this site testing project, the employed methods and its status will be given.
