"Light in the dark"
Abstract. Gravitational lensing is one of the most powerful probes to investigate the amount and distribution of dark matter in our Universe. Many ways to use the information coming from lensing can be used, according to the specific goal which one has in mind. I will present a general approach and different applications within this context to obtain optimal results, where "optimal" is going to be quantified.
