"The stellar clustering behavior in star-forming regions of the Magellanic Clouds."

Zusammenfassung. I plan to discuss the clustering behavior of new-born stars in giant HII regions in the Magellanic Clouds. In particular I will present common techniques used for the identification of stellar structures in HII regions and methods for the quantification of how stars are grouped in the stellar systems associated to these regions. Based on these analysis tools and using data from the brightest HII region in the SMC, NGC 346/N66, I will present our results on the sub-clustering of young stars and provide evidence of its self-similar hierarchical behavior.
