"Dynamical evolution of Star-Forming Regions"

Zusammenfassung. I will discuss the dynamical evolution of star-forming regions and highlight the initial conditions that lead to bound (later open) star clusters, and those that lead to unbound associations. The distinction is important because bound clusters are less likely to contribute stars to the Galactic field, as opposed to unbound associations. I will present a new method of distinguishing these two scenarios based on the spatial structure of the stars and the local surface density around stars.
