Adi Zitrin:

"Insight on strong gravitational lensing"

Abstract. Light rays from distant objects are known to be deflected by an intervening mass. This phenomenon is dubbed gravitational lensing. I will give a quick review of the strong gravitational lensing scenario, usually observed in galaxy clusters, and describe how it is modeled in order to map the dark, unseen matter. Recent developments and significant results will be presented.
