Heidelberg is easy to reach from all-over the world because of its vicinity to several airports, including Frankfurt/Main International Airport (FRA). This is how you reach Heidelberg and the venue...

by Plane

From Frankfurt International Airport you can take the German high-speed train ICE directly to Heidelberg main station. You may have to change trains in Mannheim main station. In the terminal, follow the signs directing to the long distance train station. You can get the train ticket in advance online via the website of Deutsche Bahn (where you can also check the time tables) or at one of the ticket machines at the aiport's train station. The machines accept all common credit and debit cards. This options takes around 50 minutes and costs 24.50 EUR one way. Another possibility is to take the Lufthansa Airport Shuttle (follow the link for time tables), which you can also use if you did not fly with Lufthansa. This bus shuttle will bring you to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Heidelberg and takes about one hour. The cost is 22 EUR (20 EUR with Lufthansa ticket) one way.

From Stuttgart Airport you can use the S-Bahn to reach Stuttgart main station and take an IC train to Heidelberg main station. Cost is 26 EUR one way and the travel time is about 80 minutes. Tickets are available at the S-Bahn station of the airport or at the website of Deutsche Bahn, where you also find the time tables.

From Frankfurt-Hahn Airport, which is served by several low-cost airlines within Europe, you reach Heidelberg main station via a shuttle-bus service. The bus ride takes about two hours and costs 18 EUR one way. You buy the ticket directly from the driver, a reservation in advance is not necessary.
